I only believe in one conspiracy theory - that most, if not all, conspiracy theories are positively encouraged. There is no better way of hiding something secret than put it in full view and let conspiracy theorists get on with it - much cheaper and more effective than camouflage or bothering the to deny it. Project Blue Book was gathering intelligence about how effective the strategy was - nothing to do with UFO's at all.

Humpty Dumpty never sat on a wall, someone just smashed a dozen eggs at the bottom of the wall and let 'em get on with it. {#Wink}

I didn't refer to either CFR or media bias as "theories".  What I referred to was the Illuminati Conspiracy theory, i.e. the notion that unseen and secretive cabals of politically/financially powerful men have been pulling the strings and controlling our society for generations.  Which seems to be the central idea behind much of the JBS' propaganda (based on beliefs of JBS founder Robert Welch).  The video you posted seems to have as its underlying principle this very notion, i.e. that the Council on Foreign Relations is a modern day Illuminati bent on world domination.

Do you believe in the Illuminati Conspiracy theory?

I would never pretent that corporations, banks, (or even individuals like my barber) aren't in the business of profiting off of people.  That's what business is all about, right?

One can even argue that corporations and individuals attempt to control people in the form of persuasive advertising.  Nothing illegal in trying to persuade people to buy your product, is there?

As for government "controlling" people, well if by "controlling" you mean "governing" (i.e. passing and enforcing laws), then, yes, government "of the people, by the people, for the people" does govern people.  With the consent of the governed, elected leaders enact laws that regulate or control various aspects of our lives within the social order.  That's what they are required and expected to do under the Constitution.  Profiting off of your government position is, however, illegal, and should be prosecuted when it occurs (as it often is; just ask Blagojevich, William Jefferson, Duke Cunningham, etc.)

Illuminati Conspiracy. There's a marginalized term for you. I don't care what label or distortion people want to portray it as. The fact is, its a battle of ideology. There are globalist individuals and organizations who operate within this country, but outside of its laws. And they are in fact a direct threat to the sovereignty of this nation.

Tim Geitner attended Bilderburg in (what was supposed to be) secret. This is a violation of the Logan act. There are those in government who hold dual citizenship. Shouldn't this be considered a conflict of interest. Which country do you serve, if any at all? There are those lobbyists from Monsanto who sit on the USDA. Goldman Sachs "ex?" employees engineered the trillion dollar bank bailout, like Geinter, Paulson and so on. This goes on unpunished. On and On.

Did you ever think you'd see George Bush crying on Oprah? Where are HER standards to give this guy air time??

It's a big club. Not in 'card carrying member' sense, but in terms of the having the same interests of power, control and wealth. And there is big business in manipulating, dividing and playing both sides off against each other, in terms of race, religion and most importantly, creating a divisive political climate, by the ruling class, for the servants.

This is 60 odd pages long but well worth the read & you will find it interesting & informative. Trust me on that one.. It pretty much sets the stage for much that we see happening today. I'd be most interested to hear your opinion after you read it, if indeed you do choose to read it. Carroll Quigley was one of Bill Clinton's professors so he's not your run-of-the-mill CT crackpot either.

http://files.meetup.com/196633/CAROL%20QUIGLEY.pdf

Carroll Quigley, The Anglo-American Establishment - Selections by Peter Myers, October 14, 2001; update December 9, 2009. My comments are shown {thus}.

You are at http://mailstar.net/quigley.html.

This book gives an inside account of how Anglo-American parliamentary democracy has been hijacked by an elitist duopoly bent upon World Government. It covers the conspiracy from about 1890 to 1945. It is my contention that there is another, deeper conspiracy which operates through the top-level conspiracy Quigley discloses here. That explains some of the disparity between the top-level conspiracy's goals, and the actual outcomes.

Carroll Quigley, The Anglo-American Establishment: From Rhodes to Cliveden, Books In Focus, New York 1981.

{frontispiece} Carroll Quigley (1910-1977) was a highly respected professor at the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. He was an instructor at Princeton and Harvard; a consultant to the U.S. Department of Defense, the House Committee on Astronautics and Space Exploration; and the U.S. Navy. His other major works include Evolution of Civilization and Tragedy and Hope - a History of The World in Our Time.

{p. ix} Preface

THE RHODES SCHOLARSHIPS, established by the terms of Cecil Rhodes's seventh will, are known to everyone. What is not so widely known is that Rhodes in five previous wills left his fortune to form a secret society, which was to devote itself to the preservation and expansion of the British Empire. And what does not seem to be known to anyone is that this secret society was created by Rhodes and his principal trustee, Lord Milner, and continues to exist to this day. To be sure, this secret society is not a childish thing like the Ku Klux Klan, and it does not have any secret robes, secret handclasps, or secret passwords. It does not need any of these, since its members know each other intimately. It probably has no oaths of secrecy nor any formal procedure of initiation. It does, however, exist and holds secret meetings, over which the senior member present presides. At various times since 1891, these meetings have been presided over by Rhodes, Lord Milner, Lord Selborne, Sir Patrick Duncan, Field Marshal Jan Smuts, Lord Lothian, and Lord Brand. They have been held in all the British Dominions, starting in South Africa about 1903; in various places in London, chiefly Piccadilly; at various colleges at Oxford, chiefly All Souls; and at many English country houses such as Tring Park, Blickling Hall, Cliveden, and others.

This society has been known at various times as Milner's Kindergarten, as the Round Table Group, as the Rhodes crowd, as The Times crowd, as the All Souls group, and as the Cliveden set. All of these terms are unsatisfactory, for one reason or another, and I have chosen to call it the Milner Group. Those persons who have used the other terms, or heard them used, have not generally been aware that all these various terms referred to the same Group.

Ask your friend about this aspect of the Rhodes Scholarship program.  Is he aware of this original intent ?

Here, this will get you started, let your curiousity do the rest.

An excerpt from the above cited :

Rhodes wanted to expand the British Empire because he believed that the Anglo-Saxon race was destined to greatness. In his last will and testament, Rhodes said of the British, "I contend that we are the first race in the world and that the more of the world we inhabit the better it is for the human race."<22> He wanted to make the British Empire a superpower in which all of the British-dominated countries in the empire, including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Cape Colony, would be represented in the British Parliament. He supported the ideas of lebensraum and mercantilism, which were popular at the time, even if they were expressed more politely by others.<23> Rhodes included American students as eligible for the Rhodes scholarships. He said that he wanted to breed an American elite of philosopher-kings who would have the United States rejoin the British Empire. As Rhodes also respected the Germans and admired the Kaiser, he allowed German students to be included in the Rhodes scholarships. He believed that eventually Great Britain, the USA and Germany together would dominate the world and ensure peace.<5>

No, I do not believe it is currently a threat.  It was a serious thing a hundred years ago.

But I do believe that the original intent of the Rhodes Scholar program is alive and well and a serious threat to the US.

And I seriously consider George Soros to be pure evil.

Lady Gaga and the Illuminati Conspiracy

...mass murder begins ... people eat up Gaga's poisoned honey and die. Does this represent the Illuminati elite poisoning the masses with toxic media?...As stated in previous articles, the hiding of one eye and the "a-ok" sign (which seemingly means 666 in the music industry) are flashed by all Illuminati artists, apparently to show their allegiance. There are a truckload of them in this video....Electroshock therapy is the main tool employed by mind control handlers to induce dissociation and fragmentation in the victims. This horrifying practice has been referred to several times in Gaga's works....Her works, like the works of many other pop stars, are part of a greater agenda. It used to focus on exposing the youth to materialism and sexual promiscuity, but it has now expanded to occult symbolism, mind control and transhumanism
