According to my kitchen scale a penny is about 2.5 Grams, 38K of them is 95K grams, or just shy of 210 lbs. So that's pretty close, and I'm really surprised it wasn't more.

This was my Dad's '57 gold and white Plymouth Fury Later on in the 80's I bought this red/white one with the intent of giving it to my Dad for his birthday as he always said how he missed his. But he would not accept it from me...So I ended up trading it for a '24 Model T Ford....
