That is sad, but I believe that it is highly curable if caught on time. We had relatives that had this, and they have lived long lives after treatment.

She should have her eggs harvested before treatment, if she wants to have children in the future.

Amen to that. I posted something earlier today (then deleted it) using that exact phrase. I feel like I've been doing that for the last two years. I feel like in many ways my forties (so far) are going to waste. I hope to turn that around real soon.
