stupid stuff... like the theme to iCarly of all things (which btw I hear multiple times daily...)  A girl sang it at the first talent show we attended at my son's school (special needs school.)  it was sorta heartbreaking to hear her sing it knowing the challenges the kid there face.
             I know, you'll see
             Somehow the world will change for me
             And be so wonderful

            I know somehow we're gonna get there

he just keeps rallying.....this weekend, he has started to eat and drink again, which really surprised me.... and is a little more perky and active....so....who knows?!  he's the amazing nichi....25 years old and still here.....

it's not looking good for poor, old nichi, my long time cockatiel friend.  just last weekend, he was chipper and hanging out on my shoulder, and playing with his toys....but tonight, he seems to be nearing the end of his long, happy life.  it was looking bad a couple of days ago, and it's just gotten worse.

aw....  nichi is probably close to 25.  he's unable to fly at the moment, and his vent is all encrusted....he's not preening....he was fine a few days ago....after a sort of rough time during the moult when he was losing feathers. now he's making new feathers, and is doing worse than ever before....
