:( Sorry to hear.
I had a friend who passed with breast cancer (hereditary, in her case - her mom predeceased her with same). She & her hubby drained much of their savings when they (or she?) bought into some quackery via treatments in some pseudo-clinic in Germany as they tried to explore all options. To no avail of course. There ought to be a law sending these shysters to jail.
(Re-reading her emails now from many years ago brings back a new sadness) :(

Mostly sad, kind of ludicrous, and would be a annoying if I gave a shit. Have a project with 6 staff, One quit, one out sick for some unknown term, one out on long-term carer's leave, and 3 have been told they are probably going to be laid off. There's one other that is a manager on for a tiny amount of time, mostly to buy goodwill. Good thing I work for the government.
I'm very sorry to read this, manbird. I scrolled back and noticed that your sister's house burned down a couple of months ago. I hope the love and support of Judie's loved ones made her final days easier...
