I lived in Naperville for a bit in the 90's and have just become affiliated with a data center that is really just about a mile from where I lived before - weird. The weather isn't that bad, but summer and winter are extreme. And yeah, sprawl. But you can go visit Fermi Lab for fun, and Chicago is pretty cool.
So you think blasting atoms into even smaller bits is fun?? I suppose you think everyone has the right to carry cyclotrons into KFC.

We lived about 15 miles east of there and it's true summer and true winter - but the real problem with Naperville is that it was the fastest growing US community for about 15 years. Can you say sprawl? Its development came with the expansion of the Metra Line. Goodbye farmland, hello bedroom community! (Another reason we DO NOT WANT a foot ferry from here to Emerald City.)
