I'm really enjoying RPHD. I've currently configured Safari to display the slideshow full screen on my living room Mac and it is stunning.
Although I'm using an LCD TV, I'm very sensitive to burn-in issues after years of tube, then plasma TVs. I noticed that the logo, album cover, and song info are slightly transparent. While I'm comfortable running RPHD for hours on my computer monitor, how about the Sharp LCD in the living room? Any thoughts, experiences to share?
(I did a quick but inadequate search for this topic elsewhere. If I missed something, a link would be appreciated.)
Burn-in is not an issue on anything other than older (5 yrs+) Plasma displays. Even there, the semi-transparency of the logo, etc. should be enough to prevent a problem.

HT/AV is my hobby and on an LCD it should not be an issue (how old is the LCD) Even the newest plasma sets have made burn-in pretty much a mute point.
I guess you must be streaming thru the TV or are not hooked into any type of audio HT stuff. If you are using a Roku and are hooked up to a receiver you can just turn off the TV but then you lose all the video.
