Africans can be Muslims, but they are not Arabs. Not all Arabs are Muslim, and not all Muslims are Arabic.

I have a friend who's name is Barak, who insists that his name is an Israeli name (he was named after a military commander in the old testament). I guess I should scold him and correct him by pointing out that his name is Hebrew, not Israeli.

The proof is there, according to Terry Anderson, a black Los Angeles talk-show host. Among other things stated by Obama, this refutes Obama's statement that his name is Swahili:

"My Name is African Swahili"

Hussein is also Arabic and so is Obama.

Obama is the first Arab-American President, not the first black President. Barack Hussein Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother's side and 43.75% Arabic and 6.25% African Negro from his father's side.  Although Barack Hussein Obama's father was from  Kenya , his father's family was mainly Arabs..

Barack Hussein Obama's father was only 12.5% African Negro and 87.5% Arab (his father's birth certificate states he's Arab, not African Negro).
