There's No Stopping Toronto's "Uber-Raccoon"

Toronto has been called the "raccoon capital of the world."
The "trash pandas" — as they're (possibly) affectionately known — have been particularly adept at getting into Torontonians' garbage bins.
The raccoon scourge was bad enough that the city spent CA$31 million on "raccoon-resistant" organic green-colored waste bins in 2016. It was the latest assault in what Canadian media have called a "raccoon war."...

Zoo Monkeys Beat up Burglar, Leave Him With Multiple Injuries and Prison Sentence
Casford’s intention was to steal a monkey for his girlfriend, but he ended up in a physical fight with the small primates instead. The altercation left Casford with a broken leg, two broken teeth, a sprained ankle, multiple bruises and a prison sentence.

Yeah I do like seeing the ones in my neighbourhood, as long as the dogs are in the yard or on lead. We sometimes see a wallaby but they are very shy and solitary. My favourite are the echidnas but its been a long time since I've seen one.
