More than three years into the Trump presidency, you might hope that the media figured out how to convey the degree to which Trump is entirely out of touch and ill-equipped to handle a deadly pandemic of massive proportions. You would be wrong.

Today's press briefing started with him talking about getting the release of a hostage overseas who is terminal.  Truly good news, but he spent 5 mins talking about one person and the amazing work of his team while every other family in America waited to hear anything about why they can't leave their homes for the next month.
