Ah,. {#Roflol}.  thanks for clarifying.  Still doesn't work so I shall look forward to the next app update !! 
I meant just shutdown ("slide to turn off") and restart, no other (painful, I know) resets.

Hi, I’m the developer of the iOS app... what you are doing should work unless your auto have CarPlay, in the latter case CarPlay can interfere and avoid starting (that’s the reason there is a switch, it’s forbidden to have CarPlay app auto start music).
if this is not the case, I’ll try a full reset of the device (audio stack can become corrupted, especially when attaching/detaching from Bluetooth. 
Next version of the app will have the ability to be driven from Siri, so I hope you could ask directly “play from radio paradise” to start audio.
