I guess being out of the country, you didn't realize that from day one Donnie never put in the hours or effort. It would cut too much into his "me" time of sleeping, tweeting and golfing. He had no interest in the job itself outside of what it could do for him. Kind of a perverted Kennedy thought: "Don't ask what this country can do for you... ask what this country can do for me".
He lost interest in tackling any problem which lasted more than a couple of days. Hence the COVID debacle.
He was tops at creating division and chaos though... I'll give him that. He did that bigly.
âPresident Trump will work from early in the morning until late in the evening. He will make many calls and have many meetings.â

I just love that line... "You suck! Bring back Orange Man with hot wife!" I really do feel sorry for Joe. Why would anybody want that job?
I really feel sorry for him too. He's not well and not up to the job, afaic.
There's some interesting stuff that happens - when he flies on AF1 they don't use the AF1 callsign, it flies as n/a. When she flies the callsign is always correct - AF2. But not when he flies, never AF1, usually n/a.
I find that odd.
Airspace above Washington is now described as Senior Living Space.
I've heard nicknames for him like FlashBang - because he has that dazed and confused look you see on faces just after tossing a flashbang into a room.
He has very few engagements relatively speaking - he starts at maybe 1000 or 1100, goes until maybe 1900. Days without anything much in his diary.
Like now, not much since last Friday, I think - CanCom can check me on that. Prepping for the presser tomorrow, no doubt. Days of prep for a presser with prepared and pre-submitted questions.
Putin challenging him to a public online debate, mocking, knowing it ain't ever gonna happen but making fun of him anyway.
Everyone knows Biden is fried.
It's really sad to see and I think it was planned from the get go for him to bow out early for health reasons, and for her to take over. If he was my Gramps I'd be objecting, man.
Bloke deserves to be somewhere quiet and unchallenging, where he doesn't have to try remember who and where he is.
I feel sorry for him too. At least Donny was up to taking it and giving it back with interest, putting in the hours....

Something off with that.....and in as far as he is aware, yes, he's complicit so I get it, might not be a legally abusive scenario. Again, if he were my Gramps I'd be having words with Granma.

Actually my wife had an interesting thought that Jill Biden is abusing her husband because she shared the ultimate ambition of being First Lady and is literally holding his hand and guiding him through this thing to feed her narcissistic need for power. There could be a case for that. I would not put my wife through that, but whatever is left of Joe mentally still wants the power as well so he is voluntarily entered into this strange agreement so I suppose it is not technically abusive.

Exactly. We can laugh at our side - while turning an original low-brow insult from the left into something we mockingly shove back in their faces, repeatedly.

It's indeed a tough job. And it's certainly not the job for a barely walking, stair-tripping, elderly dementia patient - or even a distant-ran VP candidate who barely mustered 2% support before dropping out.
A second term for Trump would have been tremendous. Consider the first term a break-in period. :)
