Its even possible that Trump does understand some of these things. A missed opportunity is just that and self defeating if missed deliberately.

The real issue for the Democrats was that the internal party politics and dealing set up a system where she was pretty much bound to win, even though the Clinton brand was irreparably damaged (rightly or wrongly). No party member was going to challenge her (Bernie being an independent interloper).
Fair enough, in re Clinton. I was really thinking about the GOP primaries, where a ridiculously large field of candidates, including a few actually almost qualified ones, was winnowed down to, well, what we got. The Dems have issues way beyond mere primary machinations. Hillary's boundless sense of entitlement, and the Dems who enabled it, have plenty to answer for. The question is, can they build a focused political machine out of their fractured mess? "I do not belong to an organized political party. I am a Democrat." Will Rogers

And the latest I read was that the records of text messages between the 2 during a 5-month period are not recoverable, according to the FBI. How does that equate with the entire FBI, much less a broader swath of the government, working against the Trump candidacy and, now, the Trump presidency? No, i agree with you. its still early, and I could have wrote that better. It seems any potential evidence beyond that (e.g. secret society, insurance plan if trump wins...) is pretty sketchy. as for the lost emails, it should be pretty easy to prove if the phone glitch thing was real or not.
