Local newspaper entertainment guy loves you Bill! http://www.mydesert.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=2011109050337An excerpt... My music distribution system of choice when I'm at a computer is Internet radio. I just discovered the American Jazz Institute's new site at mamjazzin.org. You can also find them on live365.com, which offers a huge variety of stations. But my favorite station is radioparadise.com, based out of Paradise, Calif. It's programmed by a pair of radio veterans who know how to tell stories through the juxtapositions of their songs. They create threads of music that hurdle genres to not only expose you to new music but to prepare you for new types of music by setting you up with songs you like. Radio Paradise offers a human touch by people who understand the art of programming. I don't like every song they present, but I like most of them because they have remarkable taste in a variety of music from alt rock to ancient blues. With Radio Paradise, I'm never bored and I'm often exhilarated. No computer program and few humans can make me feel that way. I can't even do that when I'm selecting music from my own beloved library.

Darn that BillG. I have sometimes bought music based on hearing at RP only to find out that the music is much stronger in Bill's playlist than standalone.

I just want you to know that I spend most of my free time listening to your station. It's a rare oasis of taste in a desert of soulless sawdust. You have returned me to the Age of Radio; I would rather listen to RP than watch TV, and I have cable, tivo, netflix, hulu, youtube... the world's at my fingertips and I'd rather come here. I hope you're having a great day, and I hope you know how good you are.
