There's a nice pizza place nearby but apart from that we
always go to the Mission DIstrict (I think) to eat.

{#Arrowd} This place was closed every time we went there. Forget what it's called

Me too, but I figured it out pretty quick. I agree tho that there hasn't been a nice place to eat in the upper Haight ever, really. Some good basic food usually but not like that.

Thanks for the fix.
The only thing I didn't like about the article was the headline. Heat lamps made me think of food lamps, not patio lamps.

I love their vision statement:

Our Vision is to create a meeting place that celebrates and substantiates some of life’s
most precious gifts: community, laughter, and the fruits of the earth.
We acknowledge
the integrity in using locally produced commodities and support local farms, breweries
and wineries.

Food that combines comfort and health, made with local organic produce
as much as possible. Meat and fish will always come from sustainably responsible,
humanely raised sources. We have big love for art and good music, life wouldn’t be
livable without it and of course it will be a big part of Sparrow Bar and Kitchen!
