Hoppy beers I'd equate with coconut. Right now, it's a popular flavor and that may fade, but it isn't like Almond Joys are going away.

Actually, I like hoppy beers, I just wish most of these outfits would make something else.  It seems like this 'ultra-hopping' can sometimes be a way to cover up what can otherwise be some pretty lousy-tasting brews - like adding sriracha to every conceivable food.

Unfortunately for him, the hop shortage peaked a few years ago, prompting many brewers to create a market for locally sourced hops, either by growing their own, or in the case of Red Lodge Ales, actually giving hop rhizomes to people willing to plant some in their yard, which they could then sell back to the brewer...

So hoppy beers will never die!
