This is about abortion today.
What medicine or health procedure will it be tomorrow?
It's about what is allowed to be taught, read or even mentioned, in Public Schools.
How far will this weaponization of Christianity be allowed to impose its political and personal agenda on the entire Country?
When did we, as a Nation, decide that particular religion - used to conquer and colonize the globe often with slaughter and torture - become a misused Leviathan again? Don't we all like to think we are more evolved than to allow those horrors to happen again?
To have no Belief System Govern is the very cornerstone of this Nation.  We minimize this at our peril.

When? In my lifetime, I started to really notice it when the evangelical right started to push to legislate the bedroom a long time ago. Politics have no business in my body or bedroom no matter the party or group think system.

maybe the latter.
no, it's about the advent of AI making just about every field I work in redundant.
If I'm lucky, I'll just manage to slide into retirement without having to think of some other way to run a business.
It's going to be three long years.  This year looks almost sorted, so two to go.

OMG...it's shocking.  Since the start of the pandemic (time stamp, no correlation), we've lost 4 parents and an aunt who was a second mother.  Paper everywhere.  Tubs and tubs of crap in the basement...very few of them are marked.

This process has effectively stopped our buying anything that we don't think our kids would want.  That's the bar.  Would someone be upset if their sibling gets it? (hopefully not, but it's the notion of attachment/value).   I don't intend to go soon, but when I do, I'm hoping to leave the place "broom clean"...with a trashcan on the curb.

We're a long way from being close to that...

It's sad...a lifetime of memories to 1-800-GOT-JUNK
A couple years ago when all the kids were out of the house, we sold or donated all our memories and downsized everything to what could fit in a small POD, and that was still too much.
(of course, had to buy new furniture to fill the new place...but still 90% less "stuff")
