You've got a point rgio.  Progressive/Democratic/Resisters must think out side the box.

Just read this phrase in a NYT op ed: "In this Jurassic Park, there's only room for one T-Rex."

It's an insight into an achilles' heel Democrats should exploit: work on a creating a rift between 47 and Musk. It's time Dems stop the deer in headlights bit, begin to think in terms of 'War,' and start tossing some wrenches of our own. The psychological effect on Trump would have him throwing ketchup like an Olympian.
Democrats need to be clever and quick instead of pondering navels: When you're in the trenches, you don't worry about fixing things after the war; you care about surviving it.

Yes. Le's start using new weapons that actually work on #47's psyche:  Repeatedly call Elon "President Musk," get under Trump and Maga's skin and accelerate the inevitable bromance blow-out.

I would suggest that every Democrat asked refer to Elon as President Musk.  Build the narrative that "we know who really won the election"... and "we know who's really running the country".  It would drive Trump insane... and he'd cut it off.

If Dems merely complain, he takes that as a win.

The State Capture of Musk and his minions is a coup. That is NOT irrelevant.

Yes, they did. However, the buyout offers weren't taken yet when these accidents happened. Up until Biden and Buttigieg tried to repair the damage, the FAA had been consistently underfunded. #47's blame game is a goose chase and is irrelevant here. Priority is taking steps to investigate all levels of operation and stop this from happening.

A rational, reasonable assessment of the situation.

Sadly, the #47 blame game and goose chase is THE story for 30%-40% of the country, which is how we ended up in the clustercuss (to quote The Fantastic Mr. Fox).

You are absolutely right. 47's Proclamations aren't Instant Pudding. Firings didn't happen in time to be a cause in these tragedies.
However, let's address three key points:
1. Due to underfunding the FAA, the skeletal staffing of Air Traffic Controllers has been an issue for well over a decade.
This has zero to do with blaming staffing; but underfunding. The finger pointing is akin to "I demand you make Bricks without Straw!" It's diaper material.
2. ALLEGED is the term, salubriously applied to Hegseth but tossed when it doesn't suit the GOP agenda narrative.
3. It's time military aircraft, black hawk helicopters and other training missions at night be re-addressed.

No evidence Trump fired thousands of air traffic controllers despite social media claims

.
FAA embroiled in lawsuit alleging it turned away 1,000 applicants based on race — that contributed to staffing woes

You're welcome.

Two bold faced lies.

There is no direct correlation between Trump (or Biden) related to the crash in DC, but Trumps attack of the FAA immediately preceding it can only harm public safety.

President Trump enacted several changes to the FAA and related agencies shortly before the crash:
  • He removed the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) administrator, David Pekoske.
  • He eliminated all members of a key aviation security advisory group.
If you're so worried about lies, Trump suggesting, without evidence, that the FAA's previous DEI hiring policies may have had anything to do with the crash is inexcusable.

It's important to note that:
  • All pilots and air traffic controllers involved in the incident would have met the required training standards, regardless of DEI protocols.
  • The FAA has long struggled with funding and staffing shortages, and a preliminary FAA safety report indicated that staffing at the Reagan Airport tower was "not typical for the time of day and traffic volume" due to long-standing issues of employee turnover and budget constraints.
For anyone worried about airline safety, Donald Trump made your travels more dangerous immediately upon taking office.
