The U.S. president went on to say that although some want Netanyahu to be prosecuted on war crimes charges, "he's a war hero."
"He's a war hero because we worked together," Trump told Levin. "He's a war hero. I guess I am, too. Nobody cares. But I am, too. I mean, I sent those planes."
Actual heroes donât identify themselves as such. History takes care of that.

The guy in charge of America's health is a raving antivax loon and former heroin addict who drinks raw milk, eats rotten whale meat, and thinks Froot Loops cause autism. AND he has a dead worm in his brain.
I mean, seriously, how much worse can radioactive Walmart shrimp possibly make it?
Last time I worked an election as a volunteer the precinct I worked in had a Votamatic machine right there, We didn't have thousands of ballots to count but it was all done very quickly, even with a bunch of paper ballotsâvoters had the option back then and about a third of them took it.
I keep encouraging people who tell me elections are rigged to go volunteer to work an election. They always need help and you get to see firsthand ho seriously the little old ladies (mostly) who check people in, fetch the ballots, and count the votes take their jobs, and how many people would have to be in on it to rig an election on a national scale. Funny, they never take me up on it.
I just ask them if they know why bank tellers count your money 3 times before handing it to you. Professional counters-of-things make mistakes every day.
I don't doubt that when Elon and DJT implied that the fix was in in Pennsylvania that they really did that (when they say the machines are not trustworthy, I believe them). So double-checking against the paper ballots is always a good idea. Even an election that's had tampering with the machines will be verifiable with a decent sense of what's statistically likely + religiously-guarded chain of possession will out most shenanigans. Certifying county clerks and making it a nonpartisan position would help.
Use the machines. Use other tools (including AI maybe) to identify unexpected outcomes. Investigate. Randomly and transparently audit random precincts. Certify.
I'm just saying that I used to run a ballot-scanning machine in a small Wyoming county. Polls close, ballots are gathered and transported to the courthouse (an hour or more in some cases), scanned quickly once, then rescanned, sorting for errors (mis-marked ballots, etc). It all goes very quickly but by 10 pm (2 hours after most ballots have arrived), people expect white smoke. By midnight, news people are screaming for something they can tell their readers/editors.
The system is much faster now (double-scanning happens after the initial filing from the county clerk) and people still are upset about the wait. Imagine it taking until January to have decent results.
