This song is what 4's were made for. Not better than average, but not deserving banishment either. Blahtastic.
Great musicians none the less.
From way back - before they were blessed by the god of suck.
Popper is a monster harp player, but his solos often sound like he's trying to prove he can fit 50 notes into a 25-note measure. Frank Zappa referred to this type of playing as "gnat notes", and it's very fitting for Popper's style. (Frank played a fair number of gnat notes in his day, too.)
Despite Popper's awesome chops, I never could get into Blues Traveller's stuff very much. It doesn't suck, but it's not my cup o' tea, either.
Popper is one of the best lyricists to come around in a while.

He actually lost a ton of weight by getting his stomach stapled. His stomach is so small now, the sandwhich probably wouldn't even fit. He vocals aren't quite the same though.
Guess he blew his leg out, just standing there. A sign you need to lay off the DING DONGs...
Good for him!
I saw these guys in Reno. My friend and her sister took their bras off, threw them onstage, then they ran on stage. They tried to hide backstage to meet the band but they got kicked out for some reason. It was great.

I normally don't like the blues traveler but this is ok. maybe it's cause it doesn't sound like john hopper singing? I just looked up this album on AMG and discovered greg allman was on this album.
