Bill, What\'s up with the profanity on this song in the middle of the day? Not that I\'m a prude, but sometimes I have RP playing around the house and I wouldn\'t want my kids to hear this song.

I\'m generally not much of a rap fan, but this number is cool. The instrumental bed caught my attention at first -- I like the tweaked guitar sample throughout the song. Although I\'m pretty opinionated about what music I like and dislike, I\'m open to hearing anything once or twice, and I try not to dismiss something until I\'ve given it a few tries. This song is a good example of that. This is one of the things that makes Radio Paradise the great place it is. Even if what\'s playing right now makes me ill, in 3 or 4 minutes Bill could pull up something that blows me away. Ya never know . . . maybe you\'ll be surprised to find you like something you didn\'t expect to. I really like when that happens.

I\'m not a big fan of rap (hip-hop, whatever), because most of it has no content. (not unlike the Whitesnake catalog...) This, on the other hand, has something to say, says it well, and ties up the loose ends neatly at the end. I\'d love to hear more from this CD. Another track like this and I\'m ready to buy. Keep up the great work, Bill.

Hee hee hee -- I don\'t care if it\'s rap or has a compelling social message... I wasn\'t listening too closely at first, but then I caught the lyrics. Reaction: disbelief, then a big smile when I recognized it as one of the songs we used to sing on the playground when I was just a wee lass! I got a huge kick out of this! :^)

There are many out there (mostly 40+ people) who dismiss anything that resembles rap or hiphop as "crap". I was a rap hater for years. But the more i listened, the more i liked. Granted, there's tons of rap out there that i hate. But, like any musical genre, you cant like 'em all, and there's bound to be some out there thats palatable.

true. likewise, one of my favorite bands of all time is Sepultura - a Brazillian band overflowing with deep political, social, spiritual, meaningful lyrics - but I would not expect most RP listeners to find their style of extremely heavy thrash metal even remotely palatable. and besides, I just like them for their music, the message is secondary in my book.
