Arghhh! I step out of the office for a couple of minutes and I miss yet another big controversy. Has anyone called it a travesty yet?
I'm just gonna chain myself to the computer. I'm tired of missing these. Play the thing again tomorrow. Oh wait, no, not tomorrow. I have to go vote. Do it Wednesday. Ah, I'll forget by then. Oh well. Jeez, I really wannna hear what all the fuss was about.
Use Real Player to listen to RP, then you can rewind the songs that you miss. Comes in handy and you don't have to bother with the chains... unless you're into that sort of thing. Silly! Not something I'd want to hear everyday, but it certainly was good for a laugh today!

I like the sing-songy version from OBWAT better.
Beat Farmers are a SoCal (San Diego specifically iconic band). Country Dick Montana died on tour (maybe even on stage) in Canada a few years ago and the guitarist, Buddy Blue just recently died. They made a splash of sorts in the mid 80s when the whole roots-rock thing was happening - BoDeans, Long Ryders, Wild Seeds, etc.
Obviously going for a mountain theme here, can Jane's Addiction be far away? Mountain Song anyone?
This has taken eclectic to a new low, sort of an ick-ick-tic.

Whaaaa?
Heh. I like the occasional silly. Some Beat Farmers every few days is a nice treat. Thanks, Bill!
Country Dick, the AntiDonovan!
Part of a Mountain set...but there are better choices than this one!

Bwah ha ha! Made me snort with laughter, this one. Keep us smilin', Bill...!
Sounded like They Might Be Giants for a moment there.
