Lyrics:

Stars shining bright above you
Night breezes seem to whisper "I love you"
Birds singin' in the sycamore tree
Dream a little dream of me

Say "nighty-night" and kiss me
Just hold me tight and tell me you'll miss me
While I'm alone and blue as can be
Dream a little dream of me

Stars fading but I linger on, dear
Still craving your kiss
I'm longing to linger 'til dawn, dear
Just saying this

Sweet dreams 'til sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries behind you
But in your dreams, whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me

Stars fading but I linger on, dear
Still craving your kiss
I'm longing to linger 'til dawn, dear
Just saying this

Sweet dreams 'til sunbeams find you
Sweet dreams that leave all worries far behind you
But in your dreams, whatever they be
Dream a little dream of me
Utterly beautiful in every respect.  Ultimate 10 from the Bristol office.

It's catalogued wrongly, though. There's a word missing ...
Rats! I again missed this great rendition by one of the greats of a great era. But no one yet notices the glaring error in this 1931 title? Gus Kahn also wrote big hits for Eddie Cantor and Al Jolson and another RP offering recorded by the late Nina Simone.
Wow, that's all I can say is wow...as I turned to see if this really was who I thought it was.

This could bear repeating. A forgotten classic, and her voice is superb.
A real surprise to hear it here.

Trance-inducing voice. Now that "Lost" has made it worth talking about, how about playing "Make Your Own Kind of Music"? Good title for this station to be playing, after all.
I know whats in the hatch

Mama Cass was a babe! Kept those Mamas and Papas going. I really miss her. RIP Mama.
