I am so glad to have been alive in a time-frame that encompasses such great innovators of style and groove! John Lee Hooker has influenced and inspired countless greats, and one of them, Big Head Todd, is bringing some of that back around to his homies December 15th at The Fox Theater in Boulder; can't wait!

1964 at the Twisted Wheel in Manchester, England - where I finally "got" what R&B and the Blues were all about and what and why the Brit groups of the time were worshipping ( and introducing all of us young sponges) to the fantastic music of JLH, MW, HW, BBK et al.
