It flickered to light
It turned broke what was right
It got the roots by the hair
What was was no longer there

It blocked out the sun
It climbed up the stairs
And then it slipped through the cracks
I wasn't watching my back

A commotion

If it rips you all apart
The grudge has still got your heart

It stalked through the rooms
And then it tore the sheets off the bed
It ripped the books off the shelf
It turned heaven to hell

It held me down tight
It took all my fight
It broke all the windows
It came flame from the kindle

A commotion

If it rips you all apart
The grudge has still got your heart

Cool song.
So very annoying

make it stop

I have the volume up high for many many songs and this causes me to hit the mute button.
Painful repetitive shouting of "Barbara Bush" or some other nonsense

kill from rotation please
I'm receiving mixed messages - need some more listening to see whether this is better than Kate (my favourite Munchkin) or not.

Yes indeed!   That certainly grabbed my attention.   Wonderful song too.

Not enjoying this
This is NOT the best song on this album. Bill, please try something else.

I'm pretty sure they're saying "A commotion"

(damn it, did I just get 'whoooshed'?)

Yes. It's a vast right-wing conspiracy. But new and improved for the kids:

Barbara Bush, George W. Bush's daughter

I love some of Feist's music, give it 9's and 10's, truly beautiful and lovely stuff
But this falls well below those standards
Due to the lack of melody, repetitiveness without being interesting and annoying guttural "Barbara Bush"
I would give this a 6 or 7...
If I never heard it again that would be fine...

I'd heard Feist was gonna go out of the box on this album.  Sounds like she's done so.  I'm interested...

I hear what you hear: an interesting tune.

Sounds like they're saying, 'Dr. Mush'

 {#Stupid}
I said elsewhere that I believed Feist was a one-trick pony. I take it back. This song demonstrates that she has some depth.
But I still don't like her music.
okay a Kate Bush/Laurie Anderson hybrid...
MUCH better than a Kate Bush clone (think TORI AMOS)...
