Why leave me hanging on a star?
When you deem me so high
When you deem me so high
When you deem me, so high
Why leave me sailing in a sea?
When you hear me so clear
When you hear me so clear
When you hear me, so clear
Why leave me hanging on a star?
When you deem me so high
When you deem me so high
When you deem me, so high
When you deem me so high
When you deem me so high
When you deem me, so high
Why leave me sailing in a sea?
When you hear me so clear
When you hear me so clear
When you hear me, so clear
Why leave me hanging on a star?
When you deem me so high
When you deem me so high
When you deem me, so high

BillG, the lyrics for this song are missing on RP, but you can insert them from here if you want, when you have the time (even though they're quite simple).

Listening to Nick Drake makes me yearn for true love
The first Nick Drake song I've heard here on RP that I don't instantly love.
His vocal delivery in the first line of each verse is what kills it for me.
(still love the guitar, and the rest of the song)

Hard to believe in the same era as The Clash or Sex Pistols this guy was out there.

I love his guitar playing. Voice is nice too.

This song is soooo good for the ears...
It's not though. Mine have red liquid running from them, I feel strangely faint and I want to punch my computer.

I like Nick Drake quite a bit, but this is not my favorite, by a long shot....
