Keep waiting for "Steady As She Goes" to kick in.
Yeah, instant Snow Patrol comparisons

Hahaha. Made me look. You must have seen the body builder Sarah Hayes too. Quite impressive in her own way, but I can't imagine her singing this. Or even worse, I am imagining her sing this! Now if I could imagine her moving the nasty old fridge out of my basement.

Yikes! That was unexpected.
There's a local photographer I googled once who, it turns out, has the same name as a naughty naughty girl. o_O

Each time this comes on and I hear the particular timbre of his voice I glance over thinking it's the 80s Montreal band 'The Box' and then as I'm parsing past "the Box" in the title the Glaswegian starts to dominate and displace the initial distant memories and it all falls into place that I've been here before.

His lisp and other vocal affectations are very offputting. Maybe dentures would help?

I do like to hear Scottish bands sing with a Scottish accent. Excellent song! In fact it's so good I can’t decide if this or 'Moonwalk Away' by Goldfish was my record of 2016?
Snow Patrol!.... with a less cooler name.
Cracker Van Jackpot Cakethoven with a brogue. Brrrilliant!!!

Interesting to hear the slight Scots accent at the end of some words. Hope Bill plays some other cuts.

Aye, but wi' a Glasgae accent. I'm sure at one point he sings "the boy done good", which if so must be a reference to the standard cliché used by football (soccer to youse across the Pond) managers when being interviewed post-match.
Curious sound. Maybe a grower. While I'm working in Scotland I'll see if I can't see them on any live listings and turn up to a gig.
Well Fred, didja didja?

Reminds me of biffy clyro - sure, it's the scottish accent, but the vocal inflections are very similar.
In general, it's good!

Very New Pornographers-esque.

one of those pieces I PSD then just keep looking at the cover art (I like those wild dark berry splootches)

Is that Neko Case on background vocals? Nice...
Like this track but not sure what to make of Admiral Fallow overall, some of their other stuff lags a bit....jury still out, will have to listen some more..

Like this tune better than the other AF tune that is being played currently.

Interesting - first impression was they sound like Snow Patrol - no bad thing at all.
Then the harmonies reminded me of another Scotland based band - Del Amitri.
Then the girl came in and it's a whole new deal.
All in all very good & looking forward to hearing more from them.
