I like everything they do, very much.

In a crowded house filled with things

And what's next in Bill's playlist?

Moth Tongue as a Treble Clef - nice. BTW ways moths don't bug humans, more annoyance really, then you feel guilty, stop reading Kant in fracking wilderness and turn off the million lumen camp lantern and look at the stars...
cool album cover

Interesting... It's Jan 7, 2016 now, and this one follows "One Night In Bangkok" again... ;-)
An unexpectedly perfect song to follow "One Night In Bangkok"

I observe so few moths these days—light pollution? pesticide overuse?—that I'm happy to see this one here. (Flour and wool moths excepted, of course). Most people have no idea what spectacular creatures they are close-up.
Nice song, but could do without the album cover.... moths creep me out!

I've probably posted this a dozen times, but I've yet to hear a bad song on Radio Paradise.
I always say "If you like every song played you're on the wrong station". Well, the Shook Twins remind me Radio Paradise is a great station. Kinda like flies: Necessary but, you would prefer they go away.

Well said merobreno. The above is one of the reasons I don't use the PSD button, even when Sucko-Barfo tune are being played. Not a bad tune this one though.

it's time to retire this one for a while. it's getting overplayed.

A little bit of gospel, a little bit of blues, a touch of folk, and maybe a skosh of hillbilly. As Levon Helm once remarked about how they all met up in Memphis, "It's what we call rock'n'roll."
This has a classic American sound to it.

To my ear, most songs I've heard from these gals sound too much the same: vocal harmonies matching an overpowering back-and-forth-style rhythm. It's a unique sound, but I'm not much of a fan.
Shook Shake Shock, very Gilbertian.
Love the rhythm of their music and way their voices blend so beautifully. More please Shook Twins!
This has a classic American sound to it. Perfect for this our Memorial Day. Wishing well all of the men and women heroes who have served this nation so well, and sacrificed so much for us and the world. God Bless...
really like these ladys....good stuff.

Very Nice Sound. Want to hear more from them.
What a fantastic album! Love these girls!
Never let it be said that BillG doesn't slip in a topical reference or two.

These gals are really super. Always fun to hear them on RP, and think back to the shows they played at my brewpub!

Discovered them here and just love everything about them.
I think this song is strong enough to become a long lasting ecological anthem.
Shook Twins - always outstanding.
Interesting. I don't know a thing about them, but this cut invites more.
Nice!
