I used to think she was just a tacky, sensationalist pop craze until I spent some time watching her earlier pop videos and live performances. The nay-sayers here should have a go at them with a big quality screen and sound system,…you’ll be transformed and become a fan.

Gaga is one very gifted live pianist-singer-actress-humanitarian. I used to think she was just a tacky, sensationalist pop craze until I spent some time watching her earlier pop videos and live performances. The nay-sayers here should have a go at them with a big quality screen and sound system,…you’ll be transformed and become a fan.

I don't disagree. However, having heard a good many of her songs and, although the tempo seems to correspond with the theme, (not a bad thing) this doesn't seem to "fit" in the "usual" LG style tune! IMO, of course. Good tune though as, unlike many songs today, there's an actual story/theme to the lyrics.

This isn't my favorite song of hers, but she is quite special sometimes.
I'm not a fan of Lady Gaga, bur I saw live performances with the Rolling Stones (e.g. Gimme Shelter). Not bad at all. Easy to find on Youtube.

God this is awful. Like tuning In to someone who ate week old rice a few hours ago. Had no idea it was Gaga, but a 1 from me only because it's the lowest there is.
Well it had to happen eventually - I have now listened to a Lady Gaga song. Not a fan of the track, but she is a quality vocalist.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I'm gaga for Gaga!

Ever since I saw her duetting with Tony Bennet I realised that she was something very special. Her performance on Jimmy Kimmel the other day was as someone else says below - "Riveting". The interaction between her and the Rhythm guitarist something to behold. Way better than the original recording, so much emotion and honesty. A definite 10 for me.

I saw her perform this on Jimmy Kimmel the other night. She mentioned that she wrote this song. I thought her performance was riveting. And the song is heartfelt and beautiful. It deserves better than the current 5.5 rating, IMHO.

Realizing only now that for all the years she has been chart-topping this is the first time in my life I have listened to an entire Lady Gaga song. Not out of any opinion, just hadn't happened yet, Must say, I find this one quite captivating, starting at a 7, would like to hear again, and more

She can write a decent song. otherwise, okay.
I have a lot of time for Lady Gaga - for me, the quality of the vocal sound on this song is occasionally a bit rough, but I suspect that the context and story of the song justify that.
A great gal with a fabulous voice.
