Eyes sparkle like sun in June
Roll up and wait for you
Wide awake in the hotel room
Thinking of what I could do
Too late, I've been up for days
I can't even see straight
No, I can't smoke the pain away
The pain away
2 a.m. on the street (I know)
Vomeros on my feet (I know)
That dealer in my phone (I know)
Welcomed into my home
But I can't drink the pain away
No, I can't snort the pain away
Oh, I can't smoke the pain away
The pain away
Roll up and wait for you
Wide awake in the hotel room
Thinking of what I could do
Too late, I've been up for days
I can't even see straight
No, I can't smoke the pain away
The pain away
2 a.m. on the street (I know)
Vomeros on my feet (I know)
That dealer in my phone (I know)
Welcomed into my home
But I can't drink the pain away
No, I can't snort the pain away
Oh, I can't smoke the pain away
The pain away

Terrible. Got that cheap bass sound evoking much of the trashy techno from years gone by.
Genuine question - how does a DJ write and record a song? Is it just a bunch of samples strung together in a DAW? I'm a musician and composer who records using a DAW but I've never sampled anything (well, not yet anyway).
