Nine Sparks Riots is the musical vessel of Swedish trombonist, composer & arranger Kristian Persson, known for his unique blend of virtuosically horn-driven, funky and harmonically rich jazz, funk and soul.

His music has generated millions of streams on Spotify and includes collaborations with: Braxton Cook, Mark Lettieri, Jarrod Lawson, Philip Lassiter, Javier Santiago, Swatkins and Roni Kaspi. He has toured in Europe, Asia, Latin America, USA, Africa and The Middle East.

Together with his fellow musicians, he creates an incredible mix of “in the pocket” grooves and emotional loops of feverish music.
