Belgians celebrate 249 days without a government.

"Through most of that time, few Belgians, let alone the outside world, even seemed to notice. Trains continue to run, waffles are still being grilled on street corners, and people window-shop along centuries-old arcades. Tourists still sample mussels, go for canal rides in Bruges and snap up Tintin souvenirs, blissfully unaware of a political crisis.

The European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, both headquartered here in Brussels, barely muster a shrug at the vagaries of Belgian domestic politics."

Wait, what? He was born that way, but God does not make mistakes? Um, isn't that what they call 'cognitive dissonance'? Amazes me how aggressively stupid some people are.

 MILITARIZE

transitive verb
1: to give a military character to
2: to equip with military forces and defenses
3: to adapt for military use

1mil·i·tary adj ˈmi-lə-ˌter-ē
1
a : of or relating to soldiers, arms, or war
b : of or relating to armed forces; especially : of or relating to ground or sometimes ground and air forces as opposed to naval forces

With the exception of "arms", I'd say most churches are fairly militarized. Many refer to themselves as "God(tm)'s army" or "soldiers of the lord", and many are "at war" with evil/heathens/sin...

I still prefer the governance structure with the regularly scheduled elections and orderly transitions of power.

Problem is, power never really transitions - it still belongs to those with the money.  Elected representatives are a dog & pony show, puppets controlled by the corporations/bankers who put them in office.
