The rental car office was late this morning; in fact they forgot. They were an hour late getting me into a car and I guess they felt guilty, so they upgraded me to a premium car. Got a Volvo S60 AWD. Interestingly, the weather provided a wonderful opportunity to appreciate just what a wonderful piece of machinery this Swedenmobile is. Last night we got an inch or two of ice pellets/sleet, whatever you want to call it so this morning the roads were shit. The Volvo was made for this. It was in complete control, never felt the tiniest of wheel slip and the brakes never even pulsed. Maybe when I win a lottery I can afford such a beautifully refined bit of technology.
i think the chinese now own volvo
and they're on a mission to make your dream come true

National has those and the A3 Audi's too. It's a huge step up from the sonata/fusion set. I also like the Mazda 6s a lot, but I'm always happy when I find a GX/WX/PC code parked in the exec stalls.

That's pretty cool...Wished she had made them all cry though.
That's pretty funny. A couple of those guys looked like they were enjoying it even though they appeared to be scared. I would imagine it would be quite a rush driving around with a professional stunt driver in a car like that.
Spinnin' kitties ain't gonna make anyone cry. They should have taken that thing up to about 130 mph on a 2-lane road out behind the airport. That woulda soiled some shorts.
I had to look that up. Am I the only one who's heard/used the phrase "to spin a kitty" to mean doin' donuts in a parking lot? Hmm. The google is unsatisfying. But lots of people spin actual cats and post videos about it.
