Though I'm going, going, I'll be coming home soon,
'Long as I can see the light.
Pack my bag and let's get movin', 'cause I'm bound to drift a while.
When I'm gone, gone, you don't have to worry long,
'Long as I can see the light.
Guess I've got that old trav'lin' bone, 'cause this feelin' won't leave me alone.
But I won't, won't be losin' my way, no, no
'Long as I can see the light.
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Oh, Yeah!
Put a candle in the window, 'cause I feel I've got to move.
Though I'm going, going, I'll be coming home soon,
Long as I can see the light.
Long as I can see the light.
Long as I can see the light.
Long as I can see the light.
Long as I can see the light.

Saw Miko open for Little Feat earlier this week and she's an amazing singer. Got the sense she was holding back a bit, then she came out to sing some backup for a couple Little Feat tunes and she really opened it up. Great show.
Little Feat. Masters at work, and their dearly departeds are in the stage wings playin' too
I´m putting an 8 now when I came to the end of the song.
As a bona fide, card-carrying member of the boomer generation I too could whine and moan about the sacrilege of covering CCR. This is not CCR. And it's the best damn version of this song I've heard since 1970. Carry on Miko. Let's hear some more.
If you haven't heard it, find the version by Ted Hawkins, in my opinion the best-ever version of the song (including, sacrilegiously, CCR's original).
Nothing notable here except for her voice. Fantastic!
Really?
My first thought was Linda Ronstadt until the song kept going onward.
Not at all a fan of covers that add absolutely zero value to the (excellent) original. Totally forgettable and uninspiring turd of of cover/tribute.
all these runnin scales Star Search contestants do is point us back to the source material

Reminded me of Mavis Staples. Very nice cover. 7.

For sure. We need less boomer gen whining. I agree. Definitely the BDV of this song since Cosmo's!

Very nice cover. Talking about covers, nice album cover as well.

The bass player is far more than notable.

As one of those boomers who was born at the tai end i find this a fine version of a CCR song

I only just scraped into 'boomer' myself, but just to decode for the youngsters of 'X' and 'Z' etc, who may not already know, "CCR" = Creedence Clearwater Revival.
.
I quite liked this version myself.

Where do I file you?
Reminded me of Mavis Staples. Very nice cover. 7.
Mavis is more more soulful singer, though.
Kudos as far as being a musician goes.... but doesn't take it anywhere Fogerty hasn't already taken us.

If you don't like it, I suggest you turn the volume to at least 7. That'll give you a better sense of what makes this song great.

My God. CCR's influence is undeniable. And I love CCR.
