Yeah we were running and how we were running
Across the hills in the pop art blue
Buzzards fly above the car
Circling us as if they knew
If I falter, If I falter
Darling will you reel me in?
If I lose it, If I lose it
Will you remind where we've been?

So we were climbing and how we were climbing
The cartoon trees up to the sky
As the sun dropped off the page
Gold it flew into my eye

Well it's all up from here.
It's like I can taste opportunity near.
I cut myself on barbed wire, getting wood for the fire
I was too.. busy staring at you...
You...

So then we were floating up, we were floating like particles into the night
High above the factories
We hitched a lift on a satellite
Lover, will you spin me round?
May we never fall back to ground

Well it's all up from here
It's like I can taste opportunity near
I cut myself on barbed wire
Getting wood for the fire
I was too.. Busy staring at you...

Well it's all up from here
It's like I can taste opportunity near
I cut myself on barbed wire
Getting wood for the fire
I was too.. Busy staring at you...
I was too.. Busy staring at you...(Falling into)(Getting wood for the fire)
I was too.. Busy staring at you...(Into your eyes)(Getting wood for the fire)
I was too.. Busy staring at you...(Falling into)(Getting wood for the fire)
I was too.. Busy staring at you...(Into your eyes)(Getting wood for the fire)
You.......... (Falling in to)
(Into your eyes)

(Into your eyes)

Zero 7 magically produce songs that fit perfectly with any vocalist, Martha Tilston sounds just divine on this track.

Radio Paradise could do with more Martha.

She is so under rated.

And the great Danish singer/songwriter Tina Dico/Dikow

OK, music industry tip: Don't have your UK vocalists sing about barbed wire.

why?
I cut my cell phone bye-bye?
Listening to this on Pandora today - I couldn't help but hear hints of Sandy Denny in certain inflections of Martha Tilston's voice.
No comments ! {#No} #3

I love the music, but her voice is kinda annoying in this one.
Sorry to whine, but I REALLY MISS MY ZERO 7!!!!!    They put out three incredible CD's, but the damn artistic-types could not be content with commerical success, so they re-invented themselves into this techno-drivel...

Bring back SIA!
what u say?:"sound like nora jones — " gues man -yep - I'm stoned....{#Arghhh}
No good!

Sheesh.  I kinda like it.
Stupid.

Contrived. Pretentious. AND repetitive. The WORST.

I completely agree

I guess they went from 7 to Zero?
Are they missing Sia?

Creativity can be a bitch sometimes! {#Sunny}

my thoughts exactly.

This is a great song. I work in an office and we listen to radio paradise everyday! And when this song comes on, I must admit, I turn it up a little. Keep up the great work radioparadise! (Many thanks for not having to listen to local radio)

Nou, nou, nou . . .
This is my favorite song from the Yeah Goat CD so far and bought it and like most the rest of it also...
Fabulous. Thanks for introducing me to them. Love that banjo at the end, too. Love RP!

after hearing this gem of a song for the umpteenth time, i raised my rating to an 8.  this is one of those "grows-on-you" songs.
surpassing massive attack..
RP introduced me to Zero 7. For that, I am eternally grateful.

Sadly, I don't enjoy this song as much as I enjoy the other Zero 7 I hear here.
Gasp, could this album be better than "When It Falls"?  Possibly.

Sweet, ripe, with just the right amount of layers.
8.

Oh, and I dig the banjo near the end.  Clever :)
I want that one

She sounds far better this way than making cat noises with Damien Rice.
An easy 7 to begin with.

The singer is Martha Tilston - I recommend you to check out her solo stuff - it's fantastic.

I uploaded one of her songs here, but it was rejected :o(

I generally rate Zero7, but they can be a bit hit-and-miss...

Tina is nice to look at but she is no Sia.
I'm really REALLY out of sync, I kept waiting for a  "girl with one eye" increase in volume.

When I first listened to this album I was disappointed. In truth, I still am, but some of the songs (including this one) are starting to grow on me. I don't think I'll ever like it as much as the others though.

I'm the biggest Zero 7 fan ever, and saw them in San Francisco recently. THEY SUCKED!   Their set was a long, long, long non-ending set of techno-crap from their new album, with only four of their traditional songs (which were awesome.)  The stage was completely backlit so that you could not really see the performers (just their mystical aura...)

Methinks the billiant folks behind Zero 7 took some dope and woke up thinking they were Porcupine Tree.

WAKE UP!!!   You're Zero 7, an awesome band with excellent schtupping music.  Come back, please.

Maybe if they had the talent of Porcupine Tree, you would have liked them!

Sorry bout the show. Go see a PT show, you won't be disappointed.

That's interesting to know - thanks. She's quite a stalwart on the radical touring circuit, and a good singer/songwriter.

Funny, I just got done listening to the stream from when they were on KCRW. Good stuff. I see a purchase in the future.

New Zero 7?
Want!
Sweet transition from The Delgados Bill!
Well this time I heard it, thanks Bill. It's not bad but I don't think it matches some of their recent work. => 7
LOVE me sum ZERO 7!
Who voted for a 8? are you deaf? :p
This reminds me of Marcel Marceau's great numbers...{#Ask}
They're channeling John Cage.

Edit: Gah, first post here and it's redundant.
Aw man you guys beat me to the John Cage punch
Lol, I taught I was the only one ^
