I didn't know why
I knew I could fly
I knew I could fly

You see what you see
You think you see me
You think you see me
You think you see me

I follow the stars
I carry my scars
I carry my scars

I know what I hear
I won't live in fear
I won't live in fear
I won't live in fear

I sit by the stream
I'm counting my dreams
I'm counting my dreams

My face to the sun
My battle half-won
My battle half-won
My battle half-won
My battle half-won

Rhiannon Giddens is a force of nature. Such a broad scope of work in a still-young life. Check into her if you are unfamiliar.

She was at Newport Folk Festival this year and in addition to her own set she joined others during their sets - all three days!!!
simply beautiful 😍
I'm gonna grab a tasty blade of grass to munch on.

Even without listening, you know at least Rhiannon Giddens is going to be lovely sounding, even if she's not singing. Anyhow, lovely harmonies are within.

I don't care about being first.  I just want to be next.
