When I was just a young 'n' bouncin' on my momma's knee
She said, "There's only one thing that sets your soul free"
Wasn't no easy street where I come from
There wasn't no sleep until the work was done

Papa was preaching 'bout the fires of hell
If you want a drink of water, got to go to the well
The Cornerstone church tried to curse my soul
But the good Lord gave me that rock and roll

Let the spirit pull me under, to the bottom of the well
You wanna live forever, but you never can tell
So one for the money, two, another show
Three for the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost

Marcus hails from where I have lived the last 34 years, Greenville, SC. He is from a family of guitarists. Have seen him play in bars under age with his Dad's band. He is the future of young guitar slingers. He has big support from Auerbach of The Black Keys, Warren Haynes and has played Duane Allman's famous Les Paul. He has also played at Clapton's Guitar Jam Festival a few times. And has toured with Chris Stapleton and Billy Strings. And he is only 28. His band has toured the whole world constantly for the last 5 years. He is on FIRE!
Nice
Underrated in my opinion. The tone on that guitar is super tasty and the playing is very neat; not over embellished and restrained when it should be. Impressive young musician.
Dig! KILLER guitar and bass sound; like something The Sweet and Thin Lizzy might have cooked up in the day!
That is a hot riff
Marcus, please stay!
Kicks ass. You go Marcus.
