Starry eyes have gotten me into trouble too many times
I didn't know where I was going when I waved goodbye
My blind ambitions put me deep underground
But I need nothing, just that sweet southern sound
I'm alright when you come around
Been drunk on dumb luck, stumbling towards the brightest light
It's getting hard to tell who really is a friend of mine, well
My blind ambitions put me deep underground
But I need nothing, just that sweet southern sound
I'm alright when you come around
My blind ambitions put me deep underground
But I need nothing, just that sweet southern sound
I hear you calling and I can't drown it out
I'm alright when you come around
Oh, no, no
You come around, I don't need nothing but the
Sweet southern sound, Lord
No, I don't need no
Baby, baby, baby, oh
I didn't know where I was going when I waved goodbye
My blind ambitions put me deep underground
But I need nothing, just that sweet southern sound
I'm alright when you come around
Been drunk on dumb luck, stumbling towards the brightest light
It's getting hard to tell who really is a friend of mine, well

Another Samantha Fish tune that made me stop what I was doing, turn it up and check out the comments. love the soulful - jamming sound. And she can hack the axe.
Heard her originally a number of years ago, here maybe or my sp* feed, have always been impressed by both her covers and original tunes. She has only gotten better over the years.
The catchy opening riffs remind of Brian Jonestownmassacre fodder, cool stuff.
Straight from the Grand old Oprey??
The video of her doing this song on her website is a real treat! I love that CRANKED guitar of hers!
Jay-sus that's an earful. I gotta bump it.

She's from KC. Home to wet, hot, saucy, sticky, and messy BBQ. Mmmmmm.
I recommend the burnt ends. Mabye the ribs. But if you want pork steaks...go to STL.
My first time,
I'm in love. She can twist that axe into some beautiful soul.
Again. Smoking hot. Jay-sus. Bonus round.

I remember seeing a video of her on YouTube, b4 I heard on RP....was shredding like nobody's business!! I knew then...she'd be someone to contend with, when it comes to female guitarists!!
That is some messy, aggressive guitar work. I love it.
She is one of my new faves, for sure, with some truly amazing guitar skills... I can't wait to see her again!
Tasty!
Hm... different. Nice to have it in the mix at times.
Feels like someone shouted "Free Bird!" at the end. 😉
I love a brassy blues woman wielding a big guitar :o)
