From me only 5 - Decent
This thing seems like it's 3 days long. 3 minutes is sufficient.
One of the less-frequently heard Stones songs.
There are good reasons for that.

Any thoughts on the "dulcet" tones of Keith when he chimes in here three separate times?

Mute!
Nice tune and lyrics, but Mick's singing is annoying and affected and so I listen to it when I'm too lazy to PSD the thing.

Again, I said 'my musical youth'.

Funny thing. When I was in my youthful musical prime, I hated the Stones. Not sure why just did. More of a Beatles and Zepplin fan. Again, I said 'my musical youth' so what did I know. My love of Jazz and Blues has helped me to find a new appreciate for these guys. It's like finding a new band in 2014. Promise I won't act like a 17 year old girl.
Not that bad i thought at the beginning. Give it a 6, because its better than some other artist work heared here!
Stayed there! A dump in Montauk, NY.
All sorts of cool stuff in Montauk - old WWII Sub watch bunkers and the Andy Warhol property ruins. Nice ocean too.

Awesome tune!
Of all the great classics the Stones have put out over the years, this is not one of them.
There's a Mick/Dave Matthews duet cover of this (I'm also a big DM fan) which is even more painful.
Maybe it's because I find this song cheesier than a fromagerie.

I really need to correct my earlier post. The movie title I referred to was "Moonlight Mile", not "Memory Motel". I don't believe there's ever been a movie with the title of "Memory Motel".
I guess I crossed up my 1970's-era Rolling Stones' album-side ending "MM" balads...
There was even a movie (which is long-forgotten) with this title starring "Dr. Meredith Grey" & "Donnie Darko", and the song plays a pivotal role in the film:

It always gives me a bit of a laugh looking at that cover and seeing Bill Wyman wearing what looks like an original from "The Vincent Price Collection".

I'm surprised you've never heard it. I've never heard it on the radio, but it was released way back when Gerald R. Ford ruled our land (HA!), so it has been out there for a while...

Ford--A decent man who took on the thankless task of finishing out Nixon's second term and battling against stagflation. Voters never forgave him for pardoning Nixon and Chevy Chase's schtick of falling down as Ford just added to image of Jerry as a bumbling fool in over his head.
Who knew that by the end of Carter's term, Ford would look pretty good? And hey, Ford's popularity by the time of his death was much higher than Chevy's. Turns out he was a much nicer guy than Chevy as well.

One of my fave Stones albums, one that seems to have faded a bit in popularity, but worth checking out for sure.
This is one of the weaker tracks from the album, IMO.

There is soooooo much Stones music to be discovered. One of the most tired tropes about the band is that they are somehow a nostalgia act or that they haven't done anything great since 1972 (or some s#*t). Nothing could be further from the truth and people's great affinity for their albums of the late 70s and early 80s clearly show that 72 is way to early a date to consider them "past their prime".
In fact the Stones have been producing great music right up to the present day and no other band can even come close to the 50 years of material in their catalog. Some great excerpts from the post-1981 Stones catalog:
1983 She Was Hot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQh8oh0rj3s
1987 One Hit (to the body): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dx2WRQLSIew
1989 Almost Hear You Sigh: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mspKnPl1HsI
1991 Highwire (their answer to the Gulf War): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjwIhyMfvRY
1994 Out of Tears: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hH_j_GjNKaY
1997 Saint of Me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcMQWfMTfJ8
2005 Let Me Down Slow: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIhX4Kmf9X4
2012 Doom and Gloom: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Fn8BQPBir0
The above is a microscopic smattering of their output in the last 3 decades. This band is a going concern, NOT a nostalgia act.

Great new/old song added to the list.
However, this song did get me kicked out of my second row, center spot at the Stones' Rose Bowl show in 94. I somehow got a spot standing there through about half the show, but when they went into this # everyone sat down and I was left standing without a seat...soon got booted back to my 50 yard line seat.

I love all music except for the Stones. Must have been my childhood problems :)

Suicide, the chickens way.
Sing in Keef
She's got a mind of her own, and she use it mighty fine................
Great tune.

Pleasant surprise to hear this on RP! An oldie and goodie.
6.8?!? Sacrilege!
Sucko Barfo.
Please play this cut. Keef comes in late on this song a couple of times, and frankly, I'm not sure what they did to his voice, but it never sounded better than it does here...
