Come back home for another year
And find yourself in the thick of it
Come back home for another year
I always thought that you could handle this

And you know you're hard enough
And you find you're strong enough
And you feel you're strong enough

Come back home for another year
And ask yourself if you could handle this
Say my name before you disappear
I always thought that you could handle this

And you know you're hard enough
And you find you're strong enough
And you feel you're strong enough

In your life, you can talk about it
Oh in your life, you can live without
Can live without

And you know you're hard enough
And you find you're strong enough
Oh yeah you'll find you're hard enough
Oh yeah you'll find you're strong enough

Come back home
Yeah, come back home.

Shiny. Byrdsy.
It's ok.... but noticed a theme.... what's with all the songs dealing with "Home".... Bill is in a rut? Bill go home :P
Likin this guy mucho.
Saw Pete a few weeks ago, he was excellent, and the new songs sounded great. I'm expecting good things from the new album.
I thought his debut album was brilliant, but this just sounds like generic rubbish to me; talk about your sophomore slumps. 3

We still have actual radio stations here? Thought the South Mountain towers were just to spice up the scenery.

Definitely an under-appreciated artist...Pete Yorn is a great musician. He's great live too. I'm jealous one listener gets to hear him every day on XRT in Chicago--I miss XRT--stuck in the wasteland that is Phoenix radio. Thank goodness for RP, or I'd be lost listening to my tired old CDs with no new input!

I care (sort of)...I like this song! I detect a touch of Eddie V. in his voice but I had to really listen closely to hear it.
No comments since 2004 ... I guess no one really cares about this? He sure does sound like Eddie Vedder!

Nothing too exciting, but it does grow on you!
Very true. Absolutely loved the first album (MFTMA). This one did nothing for me when I first listened to it. Put it in the car a couple of months ago and gave it a second chance. Still not quite as good as the first one, but still very good. The "official" bootleg from his website is good as well.
OK ..alright.. I think I need to get this album....
my opinon of PY changed after learning that he writes all his own music, as well as plays ALL instruments & does all the vocals......he is not a product of some producer.........this cut here is not one of his stronger songs.....but there is some rich textural music on both of his CD's.... it's worth a listen, and he does a good live show.....

don't listen to him, more pete yorn!!! (pimp) :)
I really thought this was a new Bruce Springsteen song when I first heard it. I know he is a big influence for Pete, so I guess I\'m not surprised! Sounds like Pete\'s new album is definitely worth checking out. :)
can definitely identify with the lyrics, good song
I dig this song!! Love the guitar!
New Pete Yorn! Excellent, I loved the first album.
