I don't really hear Dead, I hear Wilco. Not bad whoever it may sound like. 8)

sounds rootsy to me and i love it!

Mike, I'm totally with you on the "Deadsey" bit. I thought the same thing, and I came to see if others heard it too. Sorry you got slammed for saying so. That being said, I'm not especially fond of this tune, though I am fond of the Dead.
I'm glad I'm not the only one that hears the influence (if you want to call it that)! Thanks, Dave.

I didn't say that they were as good as GD, just that song song sounded "Deadsey" to me. And, I have to stand by that comment. I just heard this song again, and again, I expected to see GD as the artist. Again, I don't even claim to be a Deadhead wanna be. My exposure to GD's work is very limited. It's the harmonies and the instrumentation that strike me as similar. As far as my ratings go, yeah, I've noticed that I tend to rate songs higher than the average in cases where I like the songs. Oh well. I guess that is the mood I was in when I rated the songs. If you want to pick out some specifically, I can review my ratings. Mike

It is a matter of personal listening enjoyment and if you think ten (Godlike) is a good rating for songs like Louie, Louie, I Am A Rock, or Good Golly Miss Molly, so be it.

My cat hates this one...have to say he\'s not wrong.
I would say this is about as marginal as they come

Didn't get Dead out of it. More like Whiskeytown meets The Beatles

Sounds very \"Deadsey\" to me. Reminds me of Ripple. I like it. Wouldn\'t mind hearing more.
Sounds a little like The Jayhawks. Not bad (though not quite as good as the \'Hawks).
Hi, please play better stuff before the blood brains from my body.
Never heard it, never heard of it, like it a lot. Thanks!
