So you heard
I crossed over the line
Do I have regrets?
Well, not yet

There are some
Some who give blood
I give love
I give

Soon before the sun
Before the sun begins to rise
I know that I, I must give
So that I, I can live

There are some
Some whose give
Twists itself to take
They mistake

Who, what
What made up the line?
Some say it was pain
Or was it shame?

Soon before the sun
Before the sun begins to rise
I know that I, I must give
So that I, I can live

Some
Some who give blood
I give love
I give

Soon before the sun
Before the sun begins to rise
I know that I, I must give
So that I, I can live

Painful.
I always promote you guys to my friends because you have introduced me to so many artists that I would have never had the opertunity to hear. You are excellent except for Tori Amos. Some people try to say she is exteamly talented, skilled and that it takes a true musician to understand her talent. She may have went to school but the knowledge offered was lost on her. Please, to be nice I'll say she's an artist at best, but everytime a half baked song comes on I have to look and 9/10 it reads Tori Amos. Please give the airtime to someone who deserves it. Her sound is embarrassing.

Ahem... I don't mind that you disagree with me. Hey, that is part of the fun, innit? And that you would have me  dirty one in me piehole, yeah, an eye-for-an-eye seems like a reasonable way to conduct the resolve of said disagreement. But... medicine man? I ain't no medicine man, Mr. Moak. That would be like calling a Rabbi by the title of 'Padre'. Gitchyer cultures straight!

Semantics I guess, whatever...but I do draw some comfort from the fact that most of the Buddhists, shamans and whatnot on this site turn out to be just as shallow as the rest of us.

Yeah, mon...   we are all just people, doing people things, trying our best to get by in a way that brings us joy in our own corner of the world. I've never found a need for self-righteousness about any of that. If one finds their satisfaction as a shaman, buddhist, plumber or singer, it is all equal, nothing higher nor lower.

Nice song, although it includes the word blood, i like it. And i cannot stay away from RP more than 1 day!!

I've been a big fan of Tori Amos and have seen her twice live but I can find no redeemable quality in any of the songs off the album. I've always really liked at least a couple songs or more off here earlier stuff but this album is the first to break that streak....

Ouch.  WTF? is this music?

I just saw her live 2 days ago. She was amazing. This woman had keyboards and a harpiscord and her 9 foot piano on the stage....often playing 2 different boards at once. Incredible performer. She really does GIVE to her audience. Her fans are diehard. Many of them follow her tour like the Grateful Dead.  She calls her fans "Ears With Feet". See her live if you get the chance.  She is opening all her 2009 concerts with this song.  Woman's got 10 albums and has been doing world tours for about 15 years. Maybe she rubs you the wrong way and you don't enjoy her music, but I don't think it's fair to say she "sucks".
Thanks Bill!

Sure it is!{#Wink}

Bill must be abnormally attracted to sin because that is what playing this song is. Yikes! I cast thee out, demon song.

I'm normally not a Tori fan, but this song has such a sexy groove (love that bass note falling off), it's actually pretty kind on the ears. I'd prefer it as an instrumental, though.

Yes, she does. Tori is looking good and sounding great.

I love how wonderfully distinct a Tori Amos song is.  Unlike a lot of female singer/songwriters that will merge into each other (Natalie Imbruglia/Natalie Merchant spring to mind) I just KNOW it's Tori.
Tori, you are just tooooooo sexy!!!! Will you have my baby? {#Hearteyes}{#Kiss}{#Cheesygrin}

(just kidding... I'm a happily married man! {#Angel})

She kind of looks like Willow Rosenberg!
