This sounds so much better than any U2 song I have heard so far.
The cranked, plaintive, raw guitar and vocals on this always seem to catch my ear. Now , as usual, a nice, tender U2 touchstone for a time of great upheavals and change...

This is just such an unpleasant sounding song.
I like (love) this band, till their early 90s work. But this one is really terrible...
Their last great album. IMHO.

However, I will say that seeing U2 in the 3 Arena a few years ago was an emotional experience, for the Irish crowd absolutely loved the band and gave the concert an electric atmosphere I've seldom felt in a concert.
Great Pop album. An easy listen in a good way.
I'm prone to PSD'ing U2, never was a great fan. This is damn nice though. Thanks Bill and Rebecca for constantly broadening my musical horizons.

I know a lot of people can't separate the artist from the art, but U2 is a great band and has put out a lot of quality music.... and Bono (bono vox) is a great singer! Deal with it....

This was a very underrated album for me, but upon revisiting it there are a few very strong songs that I really like now...this tune is borderline among the best on the album. Can do without it...
