Very glad it did
yeah fantastic
DEEP SPACE ... not comparable with DEEP HOUSE SPACE from today (2023). But very nice work and very beautiful music! I love such music style. PEACE TO ALL!
Maybe it's just me, but this sort of thing is starting to sound fresh and really good again. Thumbs up.
blast from the space past!
After 14 years I just bumped this up from a 7 to an eight, I know itโ€™s old but so am I, I need the oxygen this song provides ...๐Ÿ•‰

There's a lot of songs today with "14 years ago" as Most Recent comments... Bill's digging in the vaults. Works for me, as for every "Ooh - haven't heard this in ages" track there's ones like this where I wonder how I've never before heard a 20 year old song that is blowing my lights.
Thank you RP for all you do to bring such pleasure to the world.

Or maybe it's Becky(RebeccaGoldsmith)

I'm reminded of the Alan Parsons Project, only the Project is better.

Hey! I can see my house from here!!!
Well, I guess I have no choice but to love that one...
Miami Vice Theme Song Band plays Enya
Is this in a TV commercial or something? It sounds kinda familiar in short bursts.

Thanks a lot for that image.
Someday dancers with wings will be performing to this song in a space station arena.

I was expecting to hear Planet P's "Why Me" after the first few seconds. This reminds me of the music that my massage therapist would play during sessions. The piano especially. This piece is like a odd collision of Floyd, Enigma, and dozens of New Age instrumentals.
Whoa! I think I just saw God, man. No. Wait.... Sorry. It was just a water stain on the wall.

Okay, what's up here? It's april 22nd, and once again this song is a segue from Miles Davis. Anyway. First thoughts were also 'Pink Floyd cover'. Something from The Wall. But it's a good track all on its own. Regardless of what ever else it may sound like.
It is June 5th and it occurred again. No one blames Bill for using excellent sequences more than once. So expect an occasional De Ja Vu transition.

Agreed, and a nice segue from Miles Davis it is.

Just like the white winged dove... Sings a song... Sounds like she's singing... Whoo... whoo... whoo... Just like the white winged dove... Sings a song... Sounds like she's singing... Ooo baby... ooo... said ooo
Kinda liked that...space music with a twist.

it's okay, but it belongs in Brookstone more than on a radio station. How about some Tristeza, Album Leaf, or Aphex Twin?
Ya know, anytime someone says something "belongs" somewhere, it smacks of judgement and closed-mindedness. Not very Buddha-like.
I love that kind of atmospheric tracks!!
I gave it an 8 because it resembles APP and I have a weak spot for them!
Burning Man, Burning Man
This sounds like something John Tesh would bathe to.
"Daddy's flown across the ocean...." whoa - where did that piano come from?
This track needs some serious guitars to make it survive deep space. I downgraded it from 4 to 3. It's going nowhere.
i thought it was patrick o'hearn until i checked my task bar. not bad for new age, space music
Opens just like DJ Shadow's Entroducing Too bad you can never hear that on RP...

Very nice for a rainy day (Jeanne) - though I would have mixed this one right after PF's "Great Gig in the Sky" and skipped the Miles Davis in this set. Does anyone else hear Alan Parsons?
Alan Parsons, yes, very much so. And from the same era & atmosphere Jean Michel Jarre. Must give away my age :-) I also would have passed on Miles. I want to like this type of Jazz but just don't.
i think my face has gone numb...
It sounds like a telefilm music .

A little Michael Brook-ish. Echoed guitar like on "Run Like Hell" and "Eye of the Tiger."
cool opening... the rest seems kind of just eh, so far.

I agree, but Pink Foyd is much better 8)

It just stepped into Thomas Dolby... Nifty. " ...into the Gulf of Mexico..."

Sounds like the BGM in some "corporate progress" video that they run in their lobbies and stuff. "We've reduced emissions by half since 1990, resulting in only 2 billion tons of discharged particulate per year. By 2099 we plan to halve that number again!"

i thought of Robert Miles immediately as well. this song screams Children. btw, has anyone heard the Robert Miles/Darude mix Children of the Sandstorm? wow, that's a cool tune.

I miss hearing "Hearts of Space" as well. It may still even be on in my area, but it has been relegated to Sunday very late night. I must be getting old, I prefer sleeping over music. anyway the_Jake likes this one!

This is a cool instrumental. But at the start, I thought sure it was someone covering Depeche Mode's "Strangelove". Same piano notes.
Too much extasy bro....Not a single note...this stuff is totally empty... beat box and wondering fingers

Darn, Boosiewolf, you beat me to it. :) I'm still waiting for Dave Gahan's voice to start in like a bullhorn.

This is all right I guess...but sounds a bit too much like... like ...and like ... stuff borrowed left and right put together. Not the most original piece of music.

My thoughts while listening to this were like Pink Floyd meets Depeche Mode meets BT . . . I don't know but it held my interest.
