What part of 90% effective don't people understand What part of virus running rampant in parts of the world means it is likely to mutate and some of those mutations will be nasty I'm more than happy to have a vaccine that reduces cases and reduces severity of the disease
R_P: A few days ago I emphasized the importance of socio-economic status in order to explain vaccination rates. Here is a data set published by the New York Times that hints that socio-economic status of individuals is not the only factor.
The data as reported by the NYT suggests to me that 'social cooperation' is also a factor:
The top spots in descending order go to: UAE, Malta, Bahrain, Uruguay, Chile, Qatar, Canada, Iceland, Aruba, Singapore, etc., ....
The USA sits between Switzerland and Sweden farther down the list. Below Sweden are Finland and Norway. Vaccine availability has been a factor in Europe.
