I always thought the Trump Lies thread was redundant to the Trump thread given his prolific manner of lying, but at least keep the lies current, say to the last week or month.
It looks the the first post in the Trump Lies thread was over 2 years ago.
Unless there are archived posts this would mean that thread itself was started almost 2 years into Trump's presidency.
Biden hasn't yet assumed office and a "lies" thread has already been started about him? That kind of shoots down the theory that Trump opponents couldn't wait to start that thread. Apparently we could... and did.
In the interest of "fairness" I demand that this thread be taken down/removed until Biden has served two years into his term at which point the thread can be restarted! ;)
What's this 'we' stuff? You gotta mouse in your pocket?

Funny because in the other thread you said you couldn't wait for the Biden Lies thread to spin up.
I guess you weren't kidding... you got tired of waiting (and since no one else was doing it) you pulled the trigger.
Well let's get to the long laundry list. You posted one in how many days now?... where are all the others? Biden's been in politics for a number of years and surely he must have amassed an impressive portfolio of lies that you are eager to share.
Fairness means appropriate proportionality, not mandating 50/50. Since Trump lies so much more, and this is demonstrable, then forcing his lying into a smaller "equal" amount is dishonest.
Trump doesn't get equal 50/50 time, and fairness means being honest about how much of a liar he's been. It's like when kids say "he got more; it's not fair!" and the right answer is "it's not equal, but it's fair."
You're reading too much into this. This is just a place to post Biden's lies.
This thread only follows a previously established format.
Biden is in charge of how much he lies. That will determine how much content ends up in here.
Mostly Biden lies about saying that he never said certain things which are easily found on both audio and video recordings to counter his denials or lies about never having said something.
A lie is a lie. Trump has been scrutinized like no one ever that has previously occupied the WH before him. The precedent has been established. Biden should fall under equal scrutiny as well. That is only fair.
It's just that Trump lies all the time. He cannot stop lying.
We all lie, often to get out of an embarrassing situation or to convince ourselves that things are better than they actually are. But somewhere, at some time, Trump got stuck in that self-reassuring mode...and he cannot get out of it.
You should stop pretending that Joe Biden is a liar on par with Trump. No one is.
While we're at it, please put down the fantasy that Biden is a Socialist or a Communist.
Biden's been in politics for 40+ years. He's been through many campaigns and years of oppo research. He's not taking bribes from the Ukrainians or the Chinese.
It's time for adults to stop living in a comic-book world.
A big ânothing burgerâ if ever there was one.... I guess you were just itching to start a new thread. This is what happens when you bring a knife to a gunfight.
Sorry...wrong thread. Look for the REALLY, REALLY long thread a few discussions up.
Wait, I thought that was how we do things now: if someone attacks a person, the response is not a coherent explanation and disagreement, but simply a posting of how someone else did the same thing, as a distraction.
The damned rules keep changing.
Blame the cats. Saboteurs and nihilists, all of them.
He shouldn't have said that. At least it doesn't have any impact on policy or peoples behaviour like saying the pandemic is over, etc. 21,999 to go.
Our current President: "I watched in Jersey City, New Jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down." This was a lie.
And, "Soon after, I went down to Ground Zero with men who worked for me to try to help in any little way that we could" There is no proof that this happened, from someone who insists on getting credit for his actions.
