As I continue to revisit your post from weeks ago and re-parse it for understanding, tonight I did a Goog search for "Ted + Dominionism".  And I came across this article linked below.  Haven't had time to fully digest it.

http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2016/03/ted_cruz_crazy_holy_roller_dominionist.html
Thoughts?

"Fast forward to today’s progressive equivalent of spiritual awakening; namely, the divine and infallible inner voice that speaks to one’s destiny: Put knowledge of your destiny in secularist progressive terms, or as discernment that comes from within — “my inner goddess told me I was born to be a dancer” — and you will get nothing but applause from the Left. Small wonder, as many even believe in the supernatural ability of a man to declare himself a woman.

But if your dad puts your destiny in terms of a divine call from God, suddenly he and you are nut cases."

The first bit in red is where I finally knew she was preaching to the choir: Cruz supporters who might have been concerned about the Dominionism thing but needed some permission to go ahead and vote for him anyway. Second red bit is that permission: since she's talking to people who are not Left and who do attend church, she makes this joke because it describes most Christians' professed belief to a great extent. To her and her audience, this statement is ridiculous, so the rest of the Dominionism jabber must also be ridiculous? I guess that's how it's supposed to come across.

My problem is with literalists who really really do believe precisely that. And also with the "my inner goddess" worshipers the article mocks. They are nut cases. This coming from someone who participates in a church most weeks. There's a lot of church that's batshit crazy. And a lot that's really really good. This refusal to acknowledge the crazy, though, to literally say that literally every word is not just true, but correct, and good, and infallible, well come on.

It privileges entrenched power and gives the superdelegates an opportunity to horse trade and gain some advantage. The superdelegate thing came about as a reaction to the reaction to 1968. The party insiders overplayed their hand during the insider trading in 1968, which resulted in George McGovern helping rewrite the rules, which helped get George McGovern the nomination in 1972, which led to the most embarrassing landslide defeat in modern history, which led to the old guard insisting that it have a role in the process.

Sure, just like the Democratic party was done after they denied Eugene McCarthy the nomination in 1968. And riots resulted.

They lost the next two presidential elections but managed to hold onto both houses of congress. So they stayed, you know, relevant.

Trump predicted riots if he is denied the nomination, but I'm not seeing it. His supporters might be angry enough to beat up a protestor at a rally, but an actual riot (and facing arrest for it) is a lot of effort if you have to be at work the next morning. The hippies in Chicago in 1968 could take the week off.

The incumbent parties have dug themselves into election law like the blood-sucking ticks they are. Third parties take enormous effort just to get on the ballot, not just a quick tantrum.

I live and work in a state overrun with Illegal's. They make more money having kids than we earn working full-time.

Today I had a 25-year old with 8 kids - that's right 8, all Illegal Anchor Babies and she had the nicest nails, cell phone, hand bag, clothing, etc. She makes about $1,500 monthly for each; you do the math.

I used to say, "We are the dumbest nation on earth," Now I must say and sadly admit: WE are the dumbest people on earth (that includes ME) for we Elected the Idiot Ideologues who have passed the Bills that allow this. Sorry, but we need a Revolution,

If the Illegal Immigrant is over 65, they can apply for SSI and Medicaid and get more than a woman on Social Security, who worked from 1944 until 2004. She is only getting $791 per month because she was born in 1924 and there's a 'catch 22' (notch) for her. It is interesting that the Federal Government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890. Each can also obtain an additional $580 in Social Assistance, for a total of $2,470 a month. This compares to a single pensioner, who after contributing to the growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years, can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012 in Old Age Pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement. Maybe our Pensioners should apply as Refugees!

So, if she's illegal, she's not eligible for TANF (welfare) $ The kids may be eligible for Medicaid, She likely is not (although, she may be eligible when pregnant, so maybe THAT'S why so many children...THATWASABADJOKEFOLKS)...  Even so, I don't know that TANF is 1500/mo per kid. I did a cursory search of .gov sites and couldn't find anything definitive.

For the second point, illegals getting Social Security benefits, SS is about paying into the system. If you have a SSN (legally or illegally gotten,) you can get benny's bc $$ was taken out of your check in order for you to do so.  Many of the immigration reform advocates on the left see taxing illegals' salary as one way to make SS solvent during the aging baby boomer era/

I don't know where that monthly $1,890 comes from.
