I was working on a point by point answer to all you questions this morning and had about an hours worth of time invested so far. Then that little thing happened over in the Supreme Court thread and I decided that I needed to get away for awhile. So I come back tonight to complete the effort and as I am rereading your questions I see the above and determine that its not worth all the time as you are not really interested in what I have to say regarding Trump.
So I will just leave it where it sits. Yes, I can back up everything I said with good references, but no one really cares. So why bother.
No bad feelings towards you. Just ain't worth the time for things people have already made up their minds over.
That's fair. Drop the word clown. I guess he's no different than most politicians...he's in it for the power, not necessarily to fix anything or actually make the country "great." At the least, I don't agree with what he thinks is great. If he is elected, I think he will be as ineffective as Sanders might be in getting anything done like building walls, forcing companies to start manufacturing in the US...
Time to simma down, my friend. The only thing worse than a sore loser is a bad winner.
In these parts, the picture of Beck is most meaningful. Since you and I are the only two people rooting for Trump, there isn't much to say anymore. I'm just gonna sit back and watch all the hate that will no doubt come flooding out. While I share your excitement, it might be fun for you to sit back and watch how the hate manifests itself around here in the coming days and just let it happen, unopposed. You may find it enlightening to see how far people will go. There will be many things said that cannot be taken back or disavowed to be used later on, that is if you are going to be here in the long term.
Just sayin' ...
ymmv ...
Well... I've been here 3 years already, just haven't posted much. Having seen enough Trump hate to last a lifetime I'm not too concerned.
However my last post was deliberately OTT. The crazy animated gif should have made that obvious. I do have the label of 'Shill' to play up to.
However I hear what you are saying. Maybe one day I will actually start to care what the haters think.
Delegates Trump - 12 Rubio - 5 Cruz - 5 Glenn Beck's face when Trump crashed his caucus speech.

“I love the evangelicals,” he said, adding later: “We did well with the poorly educated. I love the poorly educated.”
I suspect it is reciprocal for the some of the latter.
“Soon the country is going to start winning, winning, winning,” he said. “You’re going to be proud of your president and you’re going to be even prouder of your country.”
I think a certain amount of what Trump supporters like is the attention they get when they say something "shocking". They really aren't going to vote for him, but want to act like they do. Right now it's attention-getting behavior.
Maybe. Me, I have invested dozens of hours going deep into Trump looking into what he is really all about. I will vote for him as long as he is still standing, period end of story. No more status quo or quid pro qou for me. To paraphrase Rove the other day, Trump is standing in front of the plate glass window with a brick in his hands and his supporters are angry, putting the bricks in his hands to throw. imho, the anger is just as real as Trump. If you don't understand the depth and reasons for the anger, you won't understand Trump.
I'm not just sitting hypnotized, staring at the TVoid and blindly drinking the Kool-Aid. Like any of the candidates, they all have their strengths and weaknesses. And I have only seen about 3 or 4 episodes of the Apprentice, so no fanboy here.
He clearly knows what he is doing. He is no rank amateur. I see him as a Lady, and by that I mean that you only see what you are intended to see. There are no accidental views or gaffes per se, so far at least.
We'll see.
Oh, and while I have you on the phone ... since you live and work in where what is essentially the headquarters of the Sanctuary City movement, what affect if any is Trump's long shadow having on it and the people there in my old stomping grounds ?

He is his own man and cannot be bought out.-that's a huge leap of faith for this clown.

Just casinos in Atlantic City. I don't think anyone did well in AC. It was doomed before starting.-begs the question: Why did this business genius invest in a failing industry?
Its a lot more than just real estate deals. He builds things, big things that must have a budget, employ many people, coordinate resources, work properly and last. - wasn't aware he was in construction? Does he actually run the construction, or just finance it?
No one running understands finance and global trade better than he does. He understands that currency manipulation is the problem that it is. It is a way to violate trade agreements and have tariffs without having tariffs. He understands what corporate inversion is and wants to stop it. He is against the TPP, the only repub against it. He has a plan to repatriate the at least $2 trillion dollars in cash sitting offshore and get it back and put it to work. It belongs to the corporations and can be invested without government strings. How about a real $2 Trillion dollar stimulus to our economy that comes not from the gov, but the private sector ? Imagine what that would do for our economy. Sure would generate a lot of jobs, and wages that pay taxes to finance other things. We would grow our way out of this mess very quickly. -if it's not being invested now, where would the investment opportunities magically appear for the repatriated funds?
This would certainly stimulate domestic manufacturing. Our domestic market is so big that we don't need to export what we make in order to prosper. We can consume what we make and keep recirculating our own money through our economy, keeping it here. Energy independence also keeps our money at home and working for us instead of our enemies who will use it to destroy us given the opportunity. -this calls for the elimination of all our free trade agreements. Sounds socialist.
And Trump does not invest in equities aka the stock market. -really? nothing held in stocks? He is not beholden to the Wall Street powers. Real estate is just that, tangible assets, not paper certificates that are only worth what they are printed on. Its a whole different world than Wall Street. It deals more with Main Street. He is his own man and cannot be bought out.-that's a huge leap of faith for this clown. I have believed that he was serious since day one and is doing this for the good of our country and for no other reason. I don't doubt he's for real, just think he is one of the worst candidates for the job to ever come down the pike. He has no other reasons to do this. He needs no other reasons to do this.-wasn't his other reality show failing?
