No, I had not heard about that convoy... well, until just now, that is.  I was wondering why you mentioned that group, thought maybe they were refusing to wear their tocques, eh?

0.9 million American deaths.  5.6 million deaths (reported) world wide.  Sad and depressing.

Very sad to think that US deaths will surpass 1 million by spring 2022.

We're both triple-vaxxed now.  Quadruple if you include the positive test results in early April 2021.  In addition to wearing a mask, I hold my breath when I get close to the elderly and those with obvious health conditions.

It is so sad when one of the unhealthiest groups of North American workers — long-distance truck drivers — take it upon themselves to flaunt health regulations and send more of their fellow citizens to hospital and in far too many cases to their death beds.

Here are the US Covid-19 coronavirus numbers: 74,695,333 total cases … 902,140 deaths … and 45,614,212 reported recoveries.

The global numbers: 367,423,717 total cases … 5,658,763 fatalities … and 290,556,684 reported recoveries. (Source.)

• The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) says that 75.1 percent of the total US population has received at least one dose of vaccine … 63.6 percent is fully vaccinated … and 41 percent has received a vaccine booster dose.

• From the Wall Street Journal this morning:

"Three shots of vaccine cut the risk of death from Covid-19 by 95% in those age 50 and older during the Omicron surge in the U.K., according to an early study that showed immunity from vaccination held up well against the worst effects of the disease even among older people who are most at risk.

"The analysis, by the U.K. Health Security Agency, offers a glimpse of how effective vaccination is against death from Omicron in a highly boosted population. The U.K. government in December hurried to offer boosters to everyone 16 and older, expanding a campaign that up to that point had only applied to people 50 and older, and those with certain health conditions.

"The highly mutated Omicron variant can easily evade immune defenses to infect vaccinated people, leading to record-high case numbers across the world as the variant spread, even in highly-vaccinated places like the U.K. But several studies have shown that boosting restores some protection against symptomatic illness and, to a greater degree, against hospitalization.

"The latest data show that protection is greater still against death."

• The New York Post reports that "health officials around the world are closely monitoring a new Omicron sub-variant that has been found in at least 40 countries, including nearly 100 cases in the US.

"The variant, BA.2, is one of at least four descendants of Omicron that has been detected, and it has already become the dominant form of the virus in Denmark.

"It is widely being dubbed 'stealth Omicron' because of a genetic trait that makes it harder to detect."

Yes, they are interesting "secondary" findings but it seems like a leap to conclude that myocarditis risk can be "ten times higher" for vaccinated people than unvaccinated people.  They would have to have had a control group of 42,000,000 unvaccinated or placebo subjects to verify such a claim.  I imagine they just compared it to existing general population projections for myocarditis.

I can only guess you're right there. However... doctors (local GPs, not pro or against vaccination) are observing just that, as far as I can tell.

There may seem to be a significantly elevated risk of dying from the vaccines for young males, 30- or 40-minus years of age.

There is now a scientific consensus that vaccinations do not protect against infection with the omicron mutant. For young men under the age of 40, regardless of vaccination status, the risk of ending up in hell of damnation (ICU) because of a corona infection is minimal (almost zero). The thinking man under the age of 40 (possibly very active in sports) may now be wondering whether the overall balance of a vaccination is really positive for him in the end?

Anecdotal:
...my physician, whom I see monthly due to my illness told me, there never have been as many young men under the age of 30 who inexplicably died a sudden death, without any 'known cause', after being vaccinated against corona.

A friend's 16 y-o vaccinated nephew who, after competing in a soccer game went upstairs to rest, never made it back downstairs. This happened only six weeks ago.

so many things, but at least they put this part in bold:
