Help me, I think I'm falling in love again
When I get that crazy feeling, I know I'm in trouble again
I'm in trouble 'cause you're a rambler and a gambler
And a sweet taIking ladies man and you love your lovin'
But not like you love your freedom

Help me, I think I'm falling in love too fast
It's got me hoping for the future and worrying about the past
'Cause I've seen some hot hot blazes come down to smoke and ash
We love our lovin' but not like we love our freedom

Didn't it feel good, we were sitting there talking
Or lying there not talking, didn't it feel good
You dance with the lady with the hole in her stocking
Didn't it feel good, didn't it feel good

Help me, I think I'm falling in love with you
Are you going to let me go there by myself
That's such a lonely thing to do
Both of us flirting around flirting and flirting, hurting too
We love our lovin' but not like we love our freedom

Just writing in to point out that the recording of this song is unbelievable.  The instruments all sing in their own spaces.

I'm with ya, JT, but then there's Blue.....

And I'd have to totally agree with Jrzy, this is the only record of hers I ever owned. Not a big fan, but this had some nice cuts on it.

I totally disagree. I'm an avid Joni fan and have ALL of her albums; vinyl and CDs. I'd say Wild Things Run Fast, Hejera or Night Ride Home would be the one's to explore first, in that order. With Blue being a very good one too for the uninitiated - Blue being the first one I heard, in a store when auditioning a pair of speakers. I immediately left the store, after buying the speakers (IMF Monitors), and went straight to the record store. I wore that vinyl out and had to buy another!

I know that she is an icon..not one of mine though.
Wow Jrzy you do go way back dontcha - 2002 from the comment on this song. Court and Spark was a breakthrough album for her but she had a couple others following that were nearly as nice - Don Juan's Reckless Daugher, and the Hissing of Summer Lawns.
